District Child Welfare Council Gurdaspur organizes educational tour for holistic development of slum area children

In a commendable initiative aimed at promoting experien-tial learning and the holistic development of underprivi-leged children, the District Child Welfare Council, Gurdaspur, organized a special educational tour for students of the Preliminary Education Study Centre, being run by National Awardee Sh. Romesh Mahajan for children from slum areas.

The tour witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 48 members, including 40
children and 8 teachers.The educational tour was flagged off for Qadian under the su-pervision of Sh. Bakshi Raj, Coordinator, District Child Welfare Council, Gurdaspur. On reaching Qadian, the vis-iting team received a warm and gracious welcome from the office-bearers of the Ah-madiyya Muslim Community and Irshad Waqf-e-Jadid, Qa-dian, under the leadership of Director Hafiz Shareef-ul-Hassan Sahib.
